Common questions

How do I stop the calls or SMS?

In the iOS app: Settings → You → turn off the relevant coach or schedule. Or reply STOP to any SMS. Calls stop immediately.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed via the App Store: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Hey AI, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. If you subscribed via Stripe on the web: Settings → You → Billing in the app, or email us.

How do I delete my account?

In-app: Settings → You → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your data. No app access? Use hey.ai/data-deletion.

A coach said something inaccurate or harmful.

Coaches are AI — they can be wrong, and they are not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or otherwise). If a coach said something that worries you, email info@hey.ai with the thread name and approximate time so we can review. If you're in crisis or need emergency help, contact local emergency services or, in the U.S., dial 988.

My HealthKit / Calendar data isn't syncing.

Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health (or Calendar) and confirm Hey AI has permission for the data types you want. Then in the app, pull-to-refresh on the Goals tab. If it still doesn't work, email us.

I'm not receiving the scheduled call.

Common causes: notifications turned off (re-enable in iOS Settings), Do Not Disturb / Focus mode is suppressing the call, the schedule rolled over a time zone change, or your phone number is muted carrier-side. Email us with the scheduled time and we'll check the call log.

I want to export my data.

Email privacy@hey.ai from the phone number on file with the subject "Data Export Request". We'll respond within 30 days with a portable copy of your information.
