The delete button the internet never gave you.
Hey Cleanup is a Chrome extension with one job: remove the content you approved for removal — one item at a time, in your own browser, with a receipt for every action.
What it does
- Removes the posts and comments you approved in your Hey review — on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Works one item at a time, asking Hey's server for authorization before each one. You approve every batch first.
- Shows its work: a receipt for every removal, visible in your cleanup history.
- Stops rather than guesses when a site changes its layout or pushes back — you can resume any time.
What it never does
- Browse for you, or read pages you didn't point it at. It connects only to hey.ai's cleanup workbench.
- Touch your passwords. It works in your own signed-in browser and never sees your credentials.
- Delete anything on its own. No approval, no action — and a platform deletion is permanent, so approval is the whole point.
- Send your page content to Hey. Receipts and status only.
Getting it
The Chrome Web Store listing is in review. Until it's live, the cleanup workbench at hey.ai/app/cleanup connects to a developer build by extension ID — the workbench shows you exactly where to paste it.
Start with the review either way: import your history, tell Hey what should go, and see what it finds. The extension only matters once you've approved something.
How the extension handles your data, in plain words: privacy, section 16.
